Its lighter but not by much, you tip one over you might wish you was Popeye the sailer man with his can of spinach.

its not lighter, but a bit taller and the 09 and up
new frame improves handling. Its still close to a 1000 pounds

My old manual said my old bike was a 970 and the new one says 940. The SE is higher only because the seat is built taller (in the seat padding). The bike as I said feels more nibble.
The standard bikes the seat height is the same as last year.

This video gave a better view of the bike and I guess it is ok. It is hard for me to get use to the squared off look at the headlights. It does look nice on the road though.

Crazy, a bike weighing half a ton. Mine is under 400 lbs. dry. Seat padding is thicker to accommodate all the fat-assed riders .

Not even that much LOL! Tattoo used to always kids me about how I need to put some weight on (to kick my bike over), but I'd say it's not the meat - it's the motion. I can kick his 103" shovel to life no problem . You should have seen the look on his face first time I did that. There were a few other guys around, too, grinning ear to ear.

As far as the squared-off look of the lights, I have noticed the angular look in recent years in some sheet metal (and plastic) as well. That is one of the styling changes I have had a hard time getting used to. It's everywhere. I've always felt one of the worst styling "innovations" on choppers was the dual rectangular headlight setup. Ugh! I didn't realize just how ugly they were until a guy brought his 750 Honda chopper into Tattoo's shop for repairs. Had a coffin style fuel tank, twisted spoke wheels and twisted rails on the springer. Triple ugh!

That front end on the new Road Glide is just SICK WICKED! I went to go look at them in person last night and will be test riding one today. I thought is was hideous at first but one needs the right view to really appreciate it.

I like my CVO Ultra way better. For a heavy bike it handles like a dream especially in slow tight maneuvers. On corners at higher speeds it handles a lot better than my old 2012 CVO did. The front end on the 12 seemed heavy where my new 14 does not.
