I'm real sick but still need to get bike to the dealership before i leave for NC Saturday.

Cover off, unplug tender. Wipe off condensation which occured today because garage not heated, cool inside and 71 warm outside. She fired right up.

Getting off dirt road was exciting. Where i wanted to go and where the ruts wanted me to go weren't always in the same direction.

I did a little backroads,a little interstate and a little in town before i headed to the dealership. In town was a little sketchy, was busy and people drive like they got to get some where in a hurry or they'll die.

Once at dealership there was nobody there so in and out. I been knowing service manager and the head mechanic for years. I'm in good hands. And they drove me home.

Not feeling like one with my bike yet and not feeling well doesn't help. But i got it there.

Scheduled my first overnight ride! Several buds and I are heading up to Concord, Mass for a weekend near the end of June. Not as exciting as the ride Red Rider did but for the first here in the shirty NorEast I’m excited.

The first of many, I hope!
As for "massholes", I basically have disliked the NorthEast U.S. since my first marriage, BUT - the drivers there are not my least favorite. Houston tops my list, then Seattle, New Orleans, Phoenix and L.A. Then we get to Chicago and only after comes the NE cities. It is totally subjective, of course, but that's the way I see it. SF is crazy, but the traffic moves like like a flock of birds or a school of fish.

I’ve been to most of the cities you listed and I agree 110%. But, the NE azzwipes covers a lot more grography than those individual cities. And I’m talking from Virginia north to Mass. Maine isn’t so bad at all.

The roads are crap around these parts for sure. It's never been so bad and the azzwipe Lib governor renames a bridge for his dad who was another azzwipe lib gov. Man I hate NY but stuck here for the elderly in-laws.
