Could be your engine was built up a little
and heads could have been done before.

Are you sure you have an 88, and you're not replacing
    95 with 95 LOL

. he just has a happy flow bench . dont chase numbers if your indy is any good he will use the bench to see if flow is increasing or backing up as he works on the heads and really does not care what the numbers say . its just a tool just like a dyno . bar stool racing is all dynos and flow bench numbers are for .and a tool for the engine builder . oh and p.s. take a reading to see if the bore is 3.7/8.then we will know if you had 95 lmfao!

Had a little chat with my Indy this morning. Talking mainly about the head work that he is doing. Earlier I had said that he was flowing 240 in 28" hg. He did flow that but that is after some work was done. He started with 215 in 28" hg. I didn't hear that the first time. Also, he didn't use a manifold but did use an adapter. I asked him about what he was planning on doing with the exhaust side and he said there was just a little bit of clean up that could be done around the guide and some, but very little in the short turn. I am 100% positive that he will do a fine job. ;):D

Oh, I forgot to add, that 240 in 28" hg, that is without the bigger valves installed. I think that we have some nice headwork done when it is all said and done..

Yes, we will be installing the 1.9 valve and then the 1.625.

When I talked to him yesterday he had said that he really doesn't care what the numbes are persay, all he is looking for that his numbers are going in the right direction. Paulie, I will give you a jingle later. I think that I am going to go shopping with the wife then I will give you a call. :D
