Ok, now after an intense workout, I now know if whether or not I really need to upgrade my engine to a 98" or not. I had a chance to take BlackDangerous through some steep climbs. riding wing with people who are unfamiliar to you, and constantly having to downshift, upshift, I got a real good idea wherre the bike likes to be.

My ass dyno says that I do need to give that bike a good engine boost. There are many things that lead me to this decision. When Hot Rider is on the bike, the 88 tc is just a snail and there is no way of getting around that fact.

:roflmao:What are you saying about HR??? She slows the bike down when she's on it??:fight::brick:

It's your set up JB, not that it's it's an 88" engine...Basically the TW37 cam with the compression you're running....even with the 4*advance it would still like a bump in compression,or a different cam...

He won't listen.... now he's saying HR is the problem
I think he's gonna be sleeping wid da bike for a while, ya should
never say yer wife's the reason yer bikes underpowered ya know...

Simple solution, get kirby to send you a set of bored over to 95 inch
cylinders with the flat top HD SE pistons in it for 10 to 1 and make it a 95
and the base power curve will come up, put on some .30 cometics and get a little
    more squish....

Later when you do the heads you'll get the power, Leave the cams alone for now
    until you get ready,

    then again whadda I know...

lol... good thing it's warm there, could get pretty cool in the house..

That's the solution...but...if you're going to run your current set up, you're gonna have to drop a gear and keep the revs up.... 3000-3500 RPM's cruising speed shift point between 4000 and redline :roflmao: (between 4000-4500 really) it's the only was I can see you get some pull outta those cams in a stock 88"

:roflmao::roflmao: man I was in lower gears and it seemed like it was still struggleing. I am serious, I thought that it would do better than that. Maybe I felt that way cause it was warm, I have no idea, but it sure did seem like it was struggling.

Know he loved the bike he got.

But I found a SE Road Glide for like 2000 more than the bike he bought, and it was like a 2 yr newer bike.
He said I don't want it.
It already had a SE 103 motor in it.
Was thinkin then what he was gonna say and be going threw like he's doing now!
He would of been a lot farther ahead of the ballgame.
If you could only see this when you are younger.

Yep, he don't listen when others give advice. Oh well learn by your mistakes. Sure wished I would have had some one giving me some advice when I was younger, would have made things easier.
