Last year I was riding till almost November, but the air feels a lot different than what it did last year. Yeah, it would be nice to some pics of your ride going down the road....:D:cool:

Nice riding in October this end of NC too. Colors are out of the world here mid Oct on to end of Oct. Those Co pix were outstanding, and I would love to see Oregon, but western NC is beautiful. Feel about it like Alex does western Co, just feel lucky to live here. If you like the outdoors, you are in the middle of couple hundred thousand acres of National Forest land open to anyone who will use it and appreciate it.... :)

We are seeing the same temp. extremes here. Last couple days it was in the 20's at 7 AM, then climbed up into the 70's. Today it was in the low 80's, so I'm going for an early morning ride tomorrow. Blue skies forever!

A fairing and a windshield make a huge difference...Fairings(batwing or sharknose) add about a month of riding on both ends of our riding season here....

Never occured to me. So, they're good for something, after all! Ha-ha-ha! Just poking fun, guys! I have ridden a motorcycle with a fairing and windshield and it seemed to me to be a little TOO protective. I guess I prefer the weather and wind (and sometimes debris) buffeting my body and face & the bone shaking qualities of a non-isolated motor. Anything less is too tame for me . . .

Yeah, those shark noses are awesome.. but I am about to take the Sportster out for a ride as it is 35* out and the roads are fairly clean. I just have to get out, I can't take it no more. Maybe if my vacation in Florida works out well I will be moving to a warmer climate??? Watch out!! JohnnyBiker may be coming to a town near you!! BUHAHAHAHA!!!:roflmao:

Well at least I can be satisfactorily assured it won't be here in the Pacific NW, to much rain in the winter. Nevada is a great place to live but watch out Reno is only 600 miles from me, I can chuck rocks darn near that far. :D

Maybe N.C. weather might suit you better - but you wouldn't like it otherwise, I think, nothing to do around Hobgood. They are thinking of touting Hobgood as a good place to come and RETIRE can you believe - when it's really just a little mostly dead town miles from anywhere. My kind of place!
