And the new pistol they went to, the bigger gun stores say they used to be a great weapon. But the quality on them has gone to hell.
They have a display case of them, and nobody pick's em to to look at them here.
I stood for 3 hours waiting for my pistol to have the night sights put on watching them too.
And I'm talking about the Sig.
I know people that has one. But don't carry it.
And when you talk about the springfield. That is the pistol I know more people carrying.
Springfield has the best customer service and a great warranty on their weapons.
And this even comes from people carrrying Kimbers, Ed Brown, Wilson Combat and a lot of other top custom pistols.

Sometimes you are so full of it. The Shield has never had problems. The Shield is flawless. You need to back up your comments with facts not hearsay. Cops don't carry the Shield as their main firearm. Many police, state, county and city carry the S&W M&P full size 40.

The S&W are not having issues. As for customer service I had a XDS 3.3 in 45 cal and sent it back twice. That pistol was the biggest piece of crappola I have ever owned. Never was able to get a full mag through it without a problem. I hated that pistol.

Can you see the main line on the link when you open it.
I didn't post it. I posted what was said.
So you email them and ask them to back it up.

As you are aware I approved the adoption of the Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm as the Department’s service handgun beginning with Recruit School A14. However, we have been experiencing malfunctions during Recruit School firearms training, which is unacceptable, and I have suspended the transition to the Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm.

Even if the manufacturer is able to address our issues over the next week, we cannot afford to risk the extra training time that was added to address transition contingincies. Education, Training and Research will continue to work with the manufacturer on this issue, but today, Trooper Trainees will be issued Sig Sauer 357 handguns, which we have in our inventory as a precaution.

Dude, that is NOT the Shield. The Shield is a small carry pistol that is the same size as the XDS 3.3 only slimmer a single stack 9mm or 40 cal.

The Shield in 9mm has never had a recall or problem. As I said the police do not carry the Sheild just like they don't carry the XDS. They might as a back up but dought they would carry a XDS mainly because its not made in the USA.

Looked at one the other day when I was waiting 3 hrs in line to get my sights put on.
This is a really beautiful pistol . Very, well made.
Fits the hand super good. Only has a 3 1/2 " barrel
I was told its super accurate.
I got a boner for one.

My OL lets me keep all my Secret Service Income checks to do what it is I want to do.
She is 10 yrs younger than me. She pays all the bills.
We don't have no nice house. And no house payments.
The house has been paid for , long time ago.
    She is driving a 2004 F150 with 150,000 miles.
We don't have any bills except for my new Kia.
Don't drive my F250 PS very much.
So I can save the money every now and then and act like a young kid again.
Man it makes you feel young to get a nice pistol too.

Dan Wesson V-BOB is nice 1911 carry, well made
sold off though to a big gun maker CZ Intl.

Basically they are a custom production, still not
on the Ed Brown, Nighthawk Custom Les Baer level.

    Wouldn't turn one down though...
