Happy early birhdays you old buzzards.

At some point I will buy a motorcycle lift, but a drive on lift like you guys have is a bit out of my budget range.

 I have to keep buying if I want to keep riding LOL. Even Tattoo doesn't have a lift table. He has about a half dozen smaller ones though. Somebody gave him one the other day. They all have bottle jacks to raise them up.

Be interesting to try building one - I mean a smaller one. I have several bottle jacks already. We have arc welders at the academy shop where I work. Maybe it would be something I could get some of my boys interested in helping me with . . .

Ya can bust yer chops building a bike table
But in the end it ain't gonna work like a bought one , nor is it gonna come with a scissor jack.
    Like riding a Old bike
By the time you spend money on it all the time
Ya could of bought a newer one and had a more dependable ride .

Well, once I put another $8000 into my ride, which includes calculating interest on monthly payments, I'd have been able to buy a new $18,000 (before taxes & interest) Harley LOL. And though she's not pretty, she's pretty reliable now, too.

Like the old saying goes: It might be old, but it's PAID FOR. ;)

Back in the early 80's I built a table out of lumber to work on my Japanese bikes. It was about 2 " high and ride on. Wide enough to use feet while getting on and off. It served me well.
