if it feels peppy with the slow jet you have in the e now . put a set of fresh plugs in it run it at low rpms . for a little while if the first few threds just start to show color .and the ground strap on the plug mid way just starts to color the engine cylinder temp should be about dead nuts . if the white portion of the center of the plug shows color with todays fuel your fat . it should kinda look like egg shell with todays fuel if you pay close attention to the ground strap . about mid way comming towards the threds you will want a strip to show up right across the strap thats were you want to see the timing mark. hope this helps ya tune !

cool excelent just starting to turn color should be a little on the rich side. Ring around the porcelin and you should be good to go don't forget to shut down the pump when checking jetting we don't want to get a false read on the plugs nice to be able to shut the pump off on the super e to check jetting

screw all the way to the right and up top is your accelerator pump adjust ment . turn the screw clock wise till it seats GENTLEY that will shut the squirter off . and then the motor is just running on the slow and main jet alone! it might tip in and have a slight flat spot but we dont care about that . gently roll on the throttle and ride normal . then check the plugs if they look just slightly off white your good . start by turning the accelerator pump adjustment screw out a quarter turn at a time while bliping the throttle open and adjust it till it does not nose over while bliping the throttle . wont be more than one and a half turns if you go 2 . your fine.

got my headers and fishtails today. woohoo. they are so very tight in the heads though. having trouble getting the rear to seat all the way. is it ok to use a dremel and remove some chrome ? also not sure how the left rear footpeg is gonna clear, may have to relocate or extend. but dang....they look good.
