    I think that I was able to convince HR to let me by a shovelhead. Cowboy found one for me down by him.. Now it is just a matter of saving the money for it. I figure that I should be able to get it end of August early September..:D

    I thought that the family and I would take a road trip with a trailer. HR would not like the fact that I go down there alone. That did pass through my mind but I figured since it is a 1976 shovel it would be better to trailer it. ride it and then load it up periodically. Once I get closer to home the ride it the rest of the way, I guess I would have to see how the bike rides when I get down there.

    Yep, my southern brotha from anotha motha agreed to go take this shovelhead out for a ride for me so I can get an idea on what this bike is about. I am pretty excited to hear the report, but there is no real hurry, he has a lot on his plate at the moment....
