I don't know nothin about how high it is up north. We got 8500 feet Mountails in Big Bend.
I like where the place stays warm.

Takes a lot more time riding mountains than it does Big Hills.
My wife come from Albq. the rocky mountail there is 10,500'
If you go 50 miles north its 12,500 '
I've ridden the mountains in Arkansas too.

It gits cold in the mountains.

Here is a real MTN for you CB, Bear Tooth pass is called top of the world. The road down from the top to Redlodge is one helluva ride and the scenery is some of the best in the world, take a look. Between Wyoming and Montana.

Well CB, if you go to Sturgis in 2012 like you was saying you can go right through this area on your way there.

It don't take a whole lot of money, you need to get out and broaden your horizons and see other places before your buried.

Man I only got a couple jobs since Labor Day.
You can broaden anything you want.
Throw all the money you got away. It takes Gas, food and lodgin to git there and back.
But my bike ain't paid for. And I'd rather keep it than to do anything else.
I will not git to work till next spring and that's only if the lake comes 5' back up.
We've been in a drought for a year and nobody is boatin.
Right now its gonna be in the highs of the 30's/

well ya just gonna have ta find something else to fix when the boats
    are out of the water.

Heck good time to clean the bottom of boats, hanging out of the water 5 feet
and ya can find yer tools you drop easier when the lakes down..

Don't want to git under boats hanging by cables that people don't inspect the cables and don't want to replace. They wait till the cable breaks.
And under the boats is MUD to stand on.
