    Next morning was a day of return. We rode U.S. 2 to Superior WI. As we we were riding we saw a beautiful and really large bald eagle take flight from the side of the road. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!

    We rode into Duluth and we headed south to I 35 then to 53 then quickly turned onto MN 23 west. I have been on this road before with Ultra2009 last year on Labor Day. My dad hasn't, at least not this stretch of it. This is absolute pleasure to ride. When rinding, you feel that you are just riding in a tunnel. Completely surrounded by trees. This r I ad had I feel the best riding. Mild hill climbs, spectacular colors and many many sweepers. We were able to hold a steady speed which I like because I get rather annoyed when there is a lot of variable speed fluctuations when riding in open space.
