If my Word of working on Boat motors , with a dude that went to Mercury school, Evinride, Yamaha, Volvo school and all and whom has his own business and I worked with him everyday for 4 yrs tearing down carb and workin on boat motors is not good enough .
I ain't providing no comparisons. I know what is best.
You already have what you know is better. Use what you want to use. Don't really care.

JUst like The Goverment saying it needs more background checks.
I got Checked out by the FBI, if their background check is not good enough who's is. Obama's team ?

I don't see any need for additives,
its not a fuel quality issue it's a fuel quantity issue..

He ain't gettin none when da choke is out.

It's the float, or clogged jets... if the fuel lines were
not working or the vac lines and petcock blocked
he couldn't run it on the choke.

Your right is a fuel quantity issue. Was wondering when somebody would speak up about this. Sometimes getting a little off subject is OK but still needs to be brought back around to the original topic. Sometimes a subject just gets worn out and the new off shut takes a new twist and adds something to it, just saying.

you know i would want him to check the idle air bleed and see if he can get air in . if not he wont get any idle circuit. also make sure the gasket for the backing plate does not cover the air horn hole as well

Sorry checking in late to this thread. A common problem often overlooked relates specifically to Hyperchargers. The vacuum actuated flaps can be the source of a vacuum leak. I would isolate this to eliminate the Hypercharger as the source of your problem.

Plug the vacuum line that currently leads to the Hypercharger, then pin the flaps open so you are not starving the intake of air. An inexpensive vacuum pump tester/gauge found at any autoparts store will test the vacuum mechanism on the Hyperchager to see if it leaks. Applying vacuum to the port on the Hypercharger should keep the flaps open and not leak down.

Personally I encountered problems years ago with Hyperchargers, and eventually plugged the vacuum line and left the flaps open permanently.

not for nothing but how long have you had the bike as it is now, and when did the problem start? sometimes a problem is poor fuel, to poor maintenance, an overlooked SMALL thing, to murphy law, to return to scene of crime. sometimes all of the above work together against us
