I think I'd go for the 6", 10" is a long reach. If you go with the 6" to the hole you can turn the baffle around and have the washer at the leading edge and that would give you close to 10" that way. I tried to attach instructions from BCT but the file was to large.

In your opinion will there be a power difference from the different points??? 3" vs 7"? I have to go 7" because the mounting bracket will be in the way at 6"....

Not just a fart with the "after" baffles, but a wet one at that.

At the very least, you should have some improvement in torque in the low to middle range RPMs.

The thing I learned early on with the design of things is that design is always a compromise; you can't get everything you want - if you want loud pipes, something else is going to have to be compromised.

I have a set of Big City Baffles, and this is just my opinion, they should be called reverberaters because they really don't baffle anything except your mind, because you start wondering why you paid $75.00 for them. They may reverberate the exhaust wave. I could not tell any difference in performance or noise over V&H stock baffle when I installed them. I installed V&H quiet baffle last fall and could tell a difference in noise and performance. Even with the quiet baffle I'm probably well over 115 db's on the db gage.

Too bad that I can't get pipes that I like from V&H.. I think that the BCT's will be an upgrade from what I have now..... Hell, just those threaded rods that lollipop are better than what I have now...:D
