I just bought a 04 Road King Classic. I replaced the stock pipes with Screamin Eagles. I was considering having someone remove the baffles. Will this affect the engine perfomance? I want the louder sound, but I don't want to damage the bike as a result. What's your opinion on removing baffles? Thanks !!!!

I would probably not pull the baffles out of the SE exhaust because they have been set up from the factory with the right amount of back pressure. For a bike to get the full benefits of an after market exhaust there has to be back pressure. Altering the exhaust by pulling the baffles would drastically reduce the power to the rear tire.
