Chuck, have you ever weighed that assortment? My tool collection is not that extensive, and about 6 lbs all in the left saddlebag.

I can see the merit of Daxx's stick, but a simple little-league baseball bat is more compact. And a Glock 40 is a little lighter than the Ruger.

ChuckTX just reminded me of something, if you guys are looking for a good peice of rain gear (this is one peice that is soldier certified) look for something called a "stealth suit" or "stealth jacket" at the army surplus stores. its one peice of kit smart soldiers wont do without. that peice of kit has saved my ass more times than i'd care to remember. or can remember. ill see if i can find you guys a pic or a link to it, so you fellas can check it out.

Frogtoggs come in pink and purple, what color did you get :D I use my HD rain gear rolls up good and keeps me dry. Has reflective strips on it to. As long as your moving you don't get to wet on an Ultra, its when you stop and the seat gets wet :gah:

Price has dropped on em as well, the stealth jackets. unfortunately for you guys, our bucks at or around parity now, so not as cheap as it used to be for ya's. nice peice of gear. had mine for over ten years now I think, and its still rockin. easy to maintain, squishes down tiny, and incredibly effective. One peice of gear that goes with me everywhere I go.
