    I had a good build 103
OL didn't want me doing 100
She dug her fingers in me
    I hit 130 on a dyna in 4th gear
She learned fast not to jack with me when I'm riding
Did 100 on my Bagger Saturday
She looked over my shoulder to see how fast we was running

Yep, and by the time you have the tab worn down, you'll know how hot you can go into a turn and how much earlier you have to start braking... Those low profile shocks aren't gonna reduce the lean angle very much...a little... but after 2 lefts you'll know what you have....you can grind the tab down about a 1/2 inch and your lean angle will be pretty much the same, both sides, then use your floorboards to let you know when you're close to maxing out... lol

I ran shorter shocks on an Electra Glide. I met up with FLHT, CD, the founder of this BB and some other friends. We rode the Coronado Trail. I did not have too much trouble throwing the bike around that road with the shorter shocks. FLHT will fill you in. the Street Glide shocks will work fine.

That was fun keeping up and catching Kev on his Yamaha hot rode. Was a fun ride and did we ever carve those corners. I don't think those shocks hurt you at all. Wished we could do it again, was a great time. :)

Right, however you ride that SG every day, so you know it's limits from day one

He's going to CHANGE his ride height and thus the cornering lean angle will decrease
I don't care how you do it, the math is the same, cornering for him will be less than he
    has now.

My point was, if you lower a bike, then learn the limits before you pop the wife on it
and understand the new limits. JMO a seat is a better option, if you need more reach a narrow seat (HD seats are wide) and one with an inch lower height will accomplish the same thing, and, you have a cool custom seat.

You're right but I started out with a stock electra glide and then lowered the back. A person should have a very good knowledge of the limitations of any bike before you carry a passenger and it goes without saying if changes are made then you should be familiar and comfortable with your bike before you take a passenger. The seat could be a better option in regards to ground clearance but the relationship with hands ,butt and legs placement must be comfortable. It could be possible that a seat may not fit your desired body position. I am very fussy about hand/wrist position. My point was you could actually be somewhat aggressive with one inch shorter shocks without getting into too much trouble...based on my experience. I've lowered both ends on the limited..I have noticed the difference in cornering clearance on this bike. I am a little smarter on picking lines with this bike

Your right about picking your line in a corner, Sleepy. I have to really work on that with the Springer, it just does not have good ground clearance.

I'm not a real aggresive rider to begin with and with the wife on the back even less so. The shocks are already bought and paid for just waiting on delivery. I'm also still gonna go with the seat just not sure what source to use yet thats all. Actually gonna be putting the bike down for awhile. Gonna pull most all chrome and lower legs get em powdercoated black. The sheet metal and plastic gonna get new custom paint and also gonna add the BAL smoke taillight and the Daymaker Head and Spotlamps. I'm also looking to change handlebars. I'm looking for suggestions here. I'd like to bring them up 1-3" at the most, back towards me maybe 1-2" and wider 1.5-4".

    Aloha....Mike

HD has black or chrome Apes that will do what you want, fit right up easy install and not expensive, however they are not thicker than stock, so if you want that beefy look you'll
have to look to a few other manufacturers for options. I had 1 1/4 apes on my heritage and liked them, put the black HD mini apes on my Road GLide they work well pretty popular
