We have plenty of conservatives here as well. The problem is all the ignorant worthless Californicated people that moved here. But still lots of conservative Republicans. Now if we could just get rid of the *** people in Portland.

Problem is also the young ones, most are liberal turds and many are those occupy type people.

Good thing it's not freezing here as we had a huge rain storm roll through. Man it would have dumped 1 1/2 foot of snow. Gutters wouldn't even keep up with it. Good thing I finished the broken plumbing line outside in the front lawn, that would have been a real mess.

We called those kind of rainstorms gully washers when I was a kid. Don't see many of them on the west coast as I remember, but I lived in southern California and it hardly ever rained there.

That's why Southern California is so brown and why there are so many fires.

The L.A. area used Mono Lake water because of water shortages - ran a pipe line down to L.A. and sucked it plumb dry.

I remember years ago California wanted to run a pipeline from the Columbia River here down to California and our Governor told em to stick it. We probably should send some down there in hopes of keeping those mex and Califonicated people there instead of polluting Oregon.

The whole area has all but dried up and blown away. We were up there in the 80s when there was still a trickle going down the pipeline and there were water shortages everywhere . . . you could look down at the lake and see a pond in the middle of it. The restaurant we frequented stopped serving water - you had to request it.

We had a strong wind storm come in Friday night and has lasted into today. Lost power again for awhile but had power on for the 49ers game.
