Bike lifts

Sorry I thought I mentioned it....Mine is from Harbor freight. I did mention it once before, a while ago. (different thread though) Oh yea, I did mention it in this thread, I just looked. See, you don't have to be old to be senile!! :roflmao:

I've got a jack style lift from UpLift that raises the bike up to 30 inches. It's great for most garage work and I've rebuilt a couple of engines useing it. It's great for washing bikes as you can get everything underneath clean and never have to lay down on the wet cement. It's really good for changing tires and convieniently locks at 3 seperate heights. For most of my work I use a ProCycle table lift and have never had a problem with tip overs. I climb up on the lift regularly and have never had a fear of going over with the lift. I also have the base extension bar installed to give a wider stance for stability. I wounder how I survived for so many years without anything but a flat jack.

I'm almost to the point with my senility that I can hid my own Easter eegs!!!

OK so I haven't been on in over a week. My Lift table is a 'Ranger'. Came out of Santa Paula, CA (805)933-9970. There was a web site but I don't remember it and could't find it. It was around $900. Air or hydraulic foot pump.

I have the Craftsman lift and it works just fine. I don't have enough space to get a table one. Or what I should say is I have too much stuff that takes up space in my garage to take up even more of it with a table lift. They run around $125 but I've seen them on sale for as little as $70. I think I paid $80 for mine. I've had it for about three years now and it's had a lot of use.

For lower bikes, I roll the bike up onto 2x4's with angles cut on them. My buddy's rigid frame is really low and that's the easiest way we've found to get it on there.

The lift is plenty stable enough and the bike doesn't even really need to be strapped down. I still do most of the time though just in case.

Titan motorcycle lift

I have the Titan HDML-1500XLT. Works great for me, lifts my bike 3 and a half feet in the air and it's really wide. I also like the casters the lift sits on, makes it easy to move my bike around while on the lift. It also can be lifted by air compressor or foot pedal.
