Utah would be nice and I could do that in a couple days. Or one really hard butt day, 1100 miles.

Yea, that time we left Salt Lake area and I rode home straight through was a really long, long day. I think two days is better.

ten years ago no problemo but now, I hate to admit it the body just doesn't cope as well as it used to. 500-600 miles is a nice day. you going to Sturgis?

getting back to the topic though I like the idea of a get together..been 5 years since the last one..heck I've even got the same bike...been pretty good. I put one of those true tracks on it and am working on filing the support bracket off on the asphalt..wished i'd have had it when we were on the Coronado Trail.

gee Bob, I've had two Ultras sense then. That was fun on the trail. I've slowed down a bit sense then, but not to much. :)

I really like the new frame and the six speed.

If I get to Sturgis I'm gonna ride the Limited..gonna try to give it a good ride. It's got the 103, the intercom, cruise. The one problem I have and this is a good problem is that Chuggy has been a really really good bike..not as fast or as strong as I'd like but aside from the cam chain tensioner and bearing it's been flawless..keep the fluids fresh, the fastwners snug and ride the wheels off it.

Sorry I didn't realize anyone here was from Nebraska. I've been to Omaha several times and never thought it was a great place to ride to. Drove across through the whole center of Nebraska, liked Lincoln but just not a lot there in ol Nebraska, course all of southern Idaho kinda sucks.

Never rode in Colorado much, but Utah is really nice. Course I'm kinda partial to those black hills of South Dakota to. If not for the harsh winters I could live in Spearfish SD. Real friendly people and no illegals there.:)

I think the stock touring bikes for 2011 have a good chance that their going to have the 103 in them.

Should we start a separate thread so we can list our choices in a more organized way?
