Once again I feel compelled to extol the vurtues of Bikers Bay. I had ordered the seals and drain bolts from Lakeshore H-D because of their discount, and an associate and I were going to tackle the fork seal replacement problem on 1995 XLH883. Unfortunately, time drug on, it never got done, and with temps around 100 deg. F, the oil was not weeping but free-flowing out the top of my right fork.

I called Bikers Bay in Mesa, AZ this morning and they quoted $140.00. I took it in along with the parts I had bought and it was done right on time at the price quoted and I was home 1/2 an hour later. Their big thing is ride in and ride out. No leaving it at the dealer for 3-4 days.
    (Sound familiar)?

Before I took it in I called a local H-D place. The close to being rude response, probably because I told the service writer I already had my own parts, was $388.00 + anything else they found wrong would be additional. I had talked to them bfore and they were adamant that because of the age of my piglet (13 years) the bushings probably most certainly would need replacing too. Had I taken it in I'm sure they would have added those parts and more labor of course. (They were in excellent condition by the way).

If you aren't comfortable (me) or unable to do you own service work or just in a hurry for something, I highly recomend them. They are growing fast and franchises are available. Too bad they are only in AZ and FL for now. At the rate they are growing I don't think it will be long until they are nationwide.

They would probably do very well here in SoCal, but the work comp insurance for their employees would eat them alive.
