You guys down in Tex. could use all the rain that this storm is going to produce, but not all at once cause with the ground so dry and hard you would probably have flash flooding.

So far, boys, not much happening here. 6:15 AM and it's raining, but not hard and the wind is pretty normal.

It's still raining pretty good and the wind has picked up quite a bit - gusts around 50 to 60 MPH. The eye is over the Outer Banks and they are getting slammed. The wind over there is around 90 to 100 and constant. I see tree limbs down but nothing major yet, and we still have power . . .

Raining harder now and we have a couple of leaks in the roof. Yard looks swampy and tree debris all over. The power has tried to go out several times but it's still holding on. The eye is SW of us about 50 miles away - that would make it half way up the NC coast.

Wow! Soon it'll be my turn. Mandatory evacuations around Long Island. I live on a hill (a Long Island Mountain! LOL) about 1/2 mile from the water. I'm getting the M60 ready and the hot cauldrons of oil for when the low-landers starting rushing my hill! The OL has been panic-ing since Thursday afternoon! Driving me crazy. She's pissed that I didn't fill up my Explorer. She filled her Hyndai and that she'll leave without me if we gotta evacuate. I told her to go ahead, that my Fatboy is filled and if I gotta go, I'm going on the HOG that she can take her crappy korean cage. :roflmao::roflmao:

Hyndai  :roflmao::roflmao: Tell her the Harley will keep its value better:D Hope you don't drown evacuating on the bike. :D
Weather here today is mid to low 80's, sunny no wind and low humidity. But I can't ride due to my injury.

Yeah I read your post about the back. My wife has Spinal stenosis, 3 herniated discs (lower back) and spurs on the vertabrae squeezing the nerves to her legs. Breaks our hearts she can't ride anymore. Looking eventually at major surgery.
Yours sounds like it can get better but I am sure it sucks to you right now. Sorry about that. I hope your back on two wheels soon.
We won't need evacuating. She just needs something to worry about ALL THE FN TIME! She beat me, I just got back from topping off the stupid SUV. :cussing:
