Today did one last thing to it. The tail light braket vibrated so bad that it was at risk of eventually breaking off. Happened to Tattoo once. So I made these little gussets and had them welded to the bracket. (See pics). Tonight I re-install the tail light/license bracket, tighten up the head bolts once again, fix a couple of wires and . . . . ride tomorrow!

Are you trying to tell me there are space cadets living up in those hills?;) I'm hoping sometime in April during Easter break from school.

Josh, a small word of caution during your initial riding: break-in the motor gently with several easy trips around town (hot/cold cycles). No heavy-hands on throttle for a few miles, then re-check the torque readings on the head bolts. Happy trails!

The weekend of 3/31 and 4/1, gonna spend the weekend with wife and daughter in Pigeon Forge (their spring break as well). I will be around the rest of the week and the next weekend. Let me know when you are coming. Looking at Wheels Through Time web site, think they open Thurs - Monday starting in April, and have one early weekend coming up this weekend. :)
