I am with you on this Sarge. I will never let my dealership work on WhipLash, they just plain and simply charge too much for the work that they do and the work isn't really all that good.

I hope that you get it taken care of up to your standards. Lets know again soon how the progress is? :)

I have heard from other bikers that Harley dealerships around here will not work on shovels or earlier, not that I'd take my scoot to them anyway. There are a few indy shops that will work on them. I'm trying to learn all I can about my shovel so I do not have to be too dependent on somebody else's wrench.

That's the good side of owning a shovel. Wish I had never let go of mine - but mamma needed a new pair of shoes as the saying goes.
If we had been livin in Texas that wouldn't have happened - no cold weather = no shoes. :roflmao:

Dropped in on my local wrench today to see how the repairs are going and he informed me that HD has finally got the part to replace my broken rear end - said they would have it in his hands by the end of FEB. - and I should get my ride back around the first of march. Plan on writing Willie G. and thankin him for the "fast" service - no wonder so many guys are switching away from HD's. :cussing:

Parts not been shipped from HD yet Local wrench was informed it would be in his hands in the thrid week of Feb. - He told me about 4 or 5 hours later the bike would be ready to pick up. Tryed several salvage yards but none had the part I needed altho they tryed to sell me on an upgrade I held out to keep the bike stock. Couple more years and it will be classed as a antique. Worth more if it's stock. I'm also checking a second bike to play with when I get Blu home. Never can have enough bikes I say! :D :roflmao:

Talked to my Indy yesterday and he told me the part was finally shipped - should be here by Monday at the latest - Now if I could Mother Nature to coperate I might get some ridin time in. Weatherman says more cold and bad weather moving in so will probably only be able to go out and do a little clean up for the next week or so.:banghead:

Oh it is amazing how mean those girls are towards each other. Hearing our girls talk, all I can do is shake my head. That's why I don't hang out with girls they are just rotten and back stab all the time.:witsend:
