Twisting the throttle of a stock bike trying to Keep up with bikes with more power can result in poorer gas mileage and frustration. :D

If you go to a big bore 103" on a stock 09 Harley, what transmission and frame changes do you have to make? Do you have to make these modifications if you "just" add a new cam such as the Andrews 54 or Woods 6?

On an 09 bike the frame is the best your going to get or need: changing up to a 103 you would not need to make any frame changes. If you go from a 96 motor to a 103 with cams you might want to think about a heavier clutch spring.

If you git a factory 103 vers a build 103 , you got to realize the factory motor is a EPA motor.

SE diaphram spring does good on my bike, but realize its harder to pull.

The SE has a Hydraulic clutch.

Which cam changes the sound of a stock 96 bike the most? Which cam, the woods 6 or Andrew 54 gives the most change to the lope? The most heartbeat?

Unless you have a high lift cam yer not going to notise the cam lope . And I wouldn't want over 530 lift. to ride.

CAm lope ain't what yer lookin for.

The Twin Cam motors do not lope like the pervious Harley motors, if you slow the idle down to were it does sound like it is loping it is idling to slow and not oiling, very dangerous for your motor. When I first got my TC88 it made me think I was riding a Honda. I installed a V&H exhaust system and it helped with the sound.

I copy the lope sound not changing without increasing the lift. With the added horsepower of the new cam, the bike should get louder, right? I already have the V&H header pipes with V&H slip ons.
