    I figured to bring this to another level. Now as I am looking at the two cam choices that have been suggested for my build, and I know there are going to be some varying opinions, but, which is better, a cam that has .177" lift and TDC or one that has .174" at TDC? In General??

    for what it's worth...my trash cam (ha ha)
    is a sifton 112. maybe even a taiwan knock-off.
    it is not a bolt in, and i am not aware of the mods
    needed for it.
    anyway, it will serve as a desk purdy now.

    Crane was bought out by S&S. They're still in business as "CRANE", but new part numbers have been added.

    The 288-2B is still available in the early version as part number 1-0024. The later version is 1-0025.
