I didn't either, until I "borrowed" the baster to draw out some extra oil from the oil tank. I got caught and it wasn't pretty . I bought her a new one and a few other things besides . . .

So far so good came home from work and finished flushing the tank....hope I got it all, I've been cleaning with MEK, Acatone, some rust remover from Lowes, and today flushed the hec out of the tank finished it off with Acatone and used a shop vac to blow air into the tank for about 10 mins. Slapped the tank on, turned the petcock to on choke out twisted the throttle 2x's and hit the on and she fired right up.....and for the first time in weeks, kept running! Will not put the liner kit on. Had her going for about 15 mins and called it. Going in to work at 10 am tomorrow so I'll install the intake take her for a short ride and then ride her to work and hope I got all of that old liner and rust out of the tank. No caughing, no back fire, sounds good. Thanks every one , could have done with out all the help I received. Oh if it doesn't work out.....I'll let you know.
