    Hi Ken
I have a 1200 1996 Sportster It has a k and n in a factory housing with long shotgun pipes that have baffles
I installed your premium kit with 180 main 147 slow. It runs good but likes to spit off idle. Accel pump new
and it seems to dial in well with the mixture screw. Would the slide cause that ? It has a burn mark and has been over drilled.

Hi CBC, do you mean a #46 pilot jet? Typically turning the mixture screw out another 1/8th turn will eliminate the off idle hesitation. However if the slide is over drilled it will likely contribute to this and other problems (decel popping, surging during cruise speed, etc).
