One advantage would be that the bike stays warmer in the winter. I hate leaving my scooter out in the cold shop. I walk into my shop in the mornings and my baby is COLD. Been in the low 20s lately . . . .

If'n I coudn't get mine in the garage and wanted to put it in the house the OL would be saying bring it in.
My bike means as much to her as it does to me.
When I ride and she is off she will jump on back. She will not let me leave without her. Anyway she has all the money...[IMG]

    Had my Shovel head days.
Worked on them when I was at a Indy shop for a year.
Believe it but a lot of folks here are riding them back and forth to work that work at the Chemical places.
They are still running Good enough for them to be dependable to get back and forth to work.
I really like the new Twin cams .
Like the new frames on the newer touring bikes.
My full fairing and lowers on my FLHTK has spoiled me.
Left yesterday morin with the OL headed 50 miles north to Academy to get a new pair of Tennis Shoes for us. It was 37*. The heated grips was great.
And my lowers vents were CLOSED.

Got a pair of Addidas tennis shoes in a Black and blue. and Red.
Man talk about wearing Nice. They are like walkin on air.
They are running shoes. And they were only 49.00

    I ain't running Nowhere. I got a XDM 3.8 Springfield 45

But I asked about Walkin, running, training and hiking shoes.
The best shoes come out to be the runnig shoes for lightness, and bendablilty and all.
The shoes I posted are really light. Really comfortable. and really feel like nothin I have ever stuck on my feet.
I kinda like em so far.
My wife put my shoes on and she said, wow I wished I had of gotten some of these.
I walk up and down hills all day, and climb all over boats and boat docks.:D
    I ain't like Chucktx. I don't lay on the couch all day.

Well youse goys can take back all the nice things you said about me being considerate to the elderly next door neighbors. I did almost 200 miles today and the SE II pipes are going back on. Freakin cage drivers! Loud pipes definitely save lives and at the very least, GET RESPECT! No more Mr. Nice Guy!

Ha-ha! Yeah, loud pipes get the cager's attention. That is, when they don't have their radios up too loud or cell phones stuck in one ear, or both at the same time!
Unfortunately, they also get's THE MAN'S attention, too. I'm keeping my straight pipes on no matter what.
