ONe of my Buddies that used to build race bikes has worked on them all.
Flat heads. Pan heads, shovel heads Evo's and twin cams, Sporty's. buells .
He told the problems with all of them. And he said the Twin cam is the best engine ever made with less problems
He used to work at accurate engineering before he opened his own shop years ago.

And I got two buddy's that are indy shop owners. They swear by Evo's.
But some folks still like carbs.
    The future is Fuel Injected.
Ethanol in the gas dictated that too.

We have had E 10 back here for a few years and I have had no problems yet...However, if you let it sit in the tank un treated it has bad effects on rubber plastic and other parts...

If it sits long Green like algae builds up and stops up the fuel injectors on boats.
It makes bike run like crap.
Ethanol attracks Moisture man. Even fuel injectors won't run on water.
what will run on a lot of water in the fuel that the ethanol attracted ?

Tip for you if you can hear.
Keep Starbrite Startron in your gas at all times on yer bike, boat and lawn mower.

Worked with a Boat mechanic buddy for 4 yrs. This was one of the biggest problems we seen with fuel.

My bike has been sitting a month now, but I have been adding Sea Foam to my gas for months. Sea Foam was recommended by several shovel owners and a few guys on this site as well. I'm hoping to be up and running in about 2 or 3 more more weeks . . . just in time for the really cold weather to set in:eek:.

Apologies for hi-jacking the thread for a bit - but I completely forgot what the original subject was LOL.

Seafoam is good , but we have had better results with Starbrite Startron
It has more enzymes in it

If you pull the PC off any Harley it should automatically revert back to the stock ECM settings...
