    Required Gun ownership is for the people's protection & to help the police
    The police know if you carry and somebody tries to rob or carjack you
    You will be better repaired to handle the situation

    Sometimes the police dept can be short handed

    If you want to be protected, get a CHL nd protect yourself
    The police can't be everywhere
