Holy cow 115 on a 107. I was on my 2011 stock motor 103 and a guy in front and behind me on their 96 stock motors. We were on a Indy car track in Portland and they let us race 6 laps. We were balls to the walls and on the two straight a ways we hit speeds well over 100. I looked at my speedometer on the front straight a way and it was 120. How accurate that is well probably about as accurate as yours CB, but we were hauling arse. The bike in front of as I said was a stock 96 except for pipes and a SE tuner like mine and the 96 behind me. I could catch the 96 but could not get around him. So don't knock the 96 or the 103 they move out pretty well.
Your comparing apples to oranges with the BMW and the Harley. Two different animals. HRK is right the gearing has a lot to do with it to. You wanna run with a BMW get a BMW.

MY Buddy has a BMW 1600 And I know I have no chance against 160 Rwh.
    And I wasn't on a track.
I got to worry about things that might be in the road and all.
ON a track you don't have to worry about watching for other things on the roads.
I was on a road where the speed limit was 75.
If I had of been caught , the Police officer might not of been too happy.
With you on the track Nobody cares how fast you go.

But you are not gonna turn the rpm as fast as me on the 96 or 103 motor to get to 115mph. If so you got a really strong motor.

    And you heard ME SAY>
    that said.
Your bike might be stronger than mine on top end.

I've had the 110 up to 127 and that's according to the a GPS and that was on a lonely stretch of an Oregon back road. Only thing we have to be careful of on these roads is range cattle, there ain't no fences. I also don't like doing that much, not because of the law just don't want to go down at that speed.

You think you got more cattle than Texas ?

There is nothing everywhere but Ranch's here where I live for hundreds of miles. With cattle everywhere.
And deer and hogs. Not to mention cars.
I was on a 2 lane road doing those speeds.
I was not topped out with the motor. I had the OL hitting me in the side.
Will not top this motor out.
And I got a Garmin 550 on my bike.
And when I let off I was coming to a Indian shell out on the side of the road of a Indian reservation.

I got a buddy that his SE Ultra. He put a wood cam in.
And when he went over 115 mph. His bike went into a High speed wobble and it threw him off. Broke his arm, leg and ankle.
Hes had like 6 or 8 operations on his ankle and when he walks it still bent to the side.
Go as fast as you want. I ain't going that fast anymore.
Had my 07 WG with the 103 build motor to 143 mph.
    Not doing that anymore.

Look at this, you think I can see the GPS when I'm running.

And when you go out of my neighbor hood. This Ranch is one of them down the street.

Two things on your comments, 1. Never said we have more cattle than you just said there were range cattle out where I did the high speed run. 2. My bike does not have a front end wobble in it. 3. If you don't want to go fast than why you comparing your Harley to the speed of the BMW. Just saying.

I think it's that tall windshield, get a shorter one
with the built in curve on the top, they defect more
wind than the taller ones and put some down force
    on the front suspension..

    http://www.windvest.com/

An 8 inch windvest gets the air over you
better than a 12 inch stock HD shield...

That's what I have on mine now is that 8 inch with the flip up curve. It really does improve the wind better than the taller straight ones. Don't know about the stability part of it but it sure does deflect the wind better.

Some of it does but.the newer chasis yall have is like riding a caddy.the new mounting on your bikes motor is very much so better .then again this little motor is making alot of power for what it is.and that dont help.its not bad at all she just buzzes a bit more than a stock motor .aint like it shakes your feet off the pads like a shovel.lol

    CAn't
Just like a rattling noise or something coming from the primary when the motor is running.
Ya know the new SE comps has tiny bearings near the bolt which is a 70 torx right.
