Prodrag can do everythng Darkhorse can do.

If he balances cranks, and makes cylinders and all for Nitro bike. And has the machinery to do it.
    I would talk to him.
He Builds and races motorcycle, and has been doing it for a while.
How much higher up do you get.

I wouldn't hold getting banned at HTT against anyone
lots of egos and attitudes over there, everyone is an internet
wizard, has all the answers on HTT..

I'd Suggest Kirby, Jon Sachs, BP...

Darkhorse does the crank weld up, you car close to SNS talk to them
thats like going back to Mecca...

SNS did my 124 in house.

    Thank You !

    I've been kicked off forums.

And I can't believe Kirby couldn't do everything for him.
But I would take what Kirby knows and use the Heads and cams and pistons he reccomends so the bike runs right and there are no problems.
Let a HEAD MAN tell you what to do. And let him put the motor together.

you will have enough to do after you get the motor.

JB has to pick whatever works for him
if he has local people that can do it even better
because he can drive it over to them.

One issue with going all over for parts, cams here
heads there, cyl from one place, crank another,
it works, you can do it, but you dang sure better
know what you are doing when you get the parts
back and have the tools and knowledge to check
    parts for fit before assembly.

Otherwise you build a time bomb.

Best to get one person that does it for a living. And not try to out guess them.

No way you are gonna know better.
    And have it done right.
Go figure how much its gonna cost to get S&S cases and crank and all. And have the heads done and cams and everything.
And if its not right. Of if it comes apart prematurly.

For what it cost he can get a S&S 124 and stick it in his bike.
It will get on adverage 25 miles per gallon if you run it very hard.

Got aonther buddy that had one in like a 05 EG.
He wound up selling it and now has a 2012 Ultra limited with a 103 motor in it.

Yes. This is what I am looking for, a shop that can provide all services needed under one roof.

I spoke to a builder in Wisconsin on Tuesday. I liked him as far as his personality is concerned (not basing my decision on that), but the crank work will not be done by him. Well, ok, but if something should go wrong, how big of an issue am I going to encounter to get the problem taken care of? Not questioning his integrity but not sure I want that headache.

I agree with your "time bomb" analogy only in regards to a complete ground up build.

Not sure if you know the reason as to why he got booted off of HTT or not, however, his getting booted from HTT has about 0.001% as to why I will not do business with Hillside.

I agree, there are a lot of egos there but having an ego doesn't make them wrong either.

Last thing you want problems with is the Crank
And Scott has been around for years. Build thousands of motors.

That may be true but it isn't going to change my mind. Besides, have any idea what that would cost me for shipping?

    Prices change Daily.
You need to know everything you are gona do before you start the crank.
Then you will know if you want to have the rods changed.

And I don't think anybody can change your mind.No matter who is right or wrong.
Its your money. Spend it how you like dude.

Think when find you got a real Big engine. You will realize that you don't have to be the biggest motor on the block.
And when you do some traveling. And you have a problem.
