I know a lot of people don't like Citgo
Because of the people that own it.
Sorry but a person that did the bid. Has to build the oil to the specifications that the people asking for the bid.
Don't make any difference who did it.

And I know that a lot of people don't like Hugo Chavez because of what he said.

But in the same term, we have no problem buying oil from the ARabs who have killed a lot of us and hate our guts. And we have been to war against.

So please tell me your logic on this statement. You know who makes Syn 3 Oil.

I do think he went a little too long on changing his oil at times.

But he is a Amsoil distributor and like when I was a amsoil distributor, they say change your filter and send the oil to oil analyst and have it checked.
The report comees back stating the oil is still good.

Dude don't ride his bike any harder than I ride my bike. I just have the 107 with higher compression against his stock 103.

Lot of people are saying to get the Baker Compensator.

I have the new SE compensator with 10,000 on it in my 11 Ultra Limited.

I DID NOT BUY A BIKE TO BABY IT.

THE 2008 ELECTRA GLIDE THAT I DID THE 103 ON.
I ran it as hard as you can, coming off the line. hittin the rev limiter in a lot of gears.
I slammed the gears and revved it up.
Trying to see how much abuse it could take.
    And it did really good.
Took more abuse than I thought it would.

I did have the HD dealer to tell me they didn't like the Amsoil 75-90 SVO gear oil I had in the tranny. And when it was rebuilt and all the bearing replaced I didn't put any Amsoil back in it.

With respect to you CB, I think that whatever oil was used, that compensator was effed over by the owner. Either short on oil, run too long between changing the oil, beat to death or defective from the beginning or all of the above. Brand of oil had no connection to the failure.

The Indy shop that replaced the compensator has been in business for about 40 yrs.
The dudes son is in his 30's and is in the shop with his dad.
They have some really good mechanics too.

His shop is in Texas near Ft Hood. And they work on a lot of bikes.

Not puttin his name on the net.

I live out in the country. I buy my Oil at Wal Mart.
I ain't driving 50 miles to get something different.
When the OL goes to buy groceries she can pick up a couple quarts every now and then.
They carry Mobil 1 Vtwin which is very good oil.

And they will have the castrol power RS vtwin oil and some valvoline 4t full syn 4 stroke oil.

The mechanic really likes the castrol oil.
I know when I raced Dirt bikes growning up. At the time for bikes Castrol oil was the best everybody used.

    Thanks dude !

I was posting what a shop owner for 40 yrs said, and what he has seen the least problems in.
He likes the Castrol Oil I posted the best.
But as he said, everybody has their confidence in their best oil.
And he said run what you want. Cause in the area he is in, the people will be bringing the bikes to him for repair.

I could put Wallyworld Supertech 5w20 in my primary, change it every 3k and the comp will not burn up. And I stretch the legs of my 95 cu in quite a bit.

Also told you I was quoting a mechanic that did the job.
I just seen the Old compensator.

Now I was watching him change his primary fluid when he got back from the Ft Hood area.
He only put one quart in the primary and buttoned it up and put the derby cover on.
I said what are you doing. He said I changed my Primary fluid.
I said you only put a quart in the primary.
Yes that is what the book calls for.
    Nope !
It don't. Yes it does. I will show you in the manual.
I said it calls for 38oz.
He looked in the book, Guess what !
