with all this in mind it's possible you have a voltage drop through the cables
and the starter isn't getting enough juice as Art is saying, or enough for long enough.

If you have a digital MM take a voltage reading across the battery, then,
take one from the end of the cable running to the starter, see how much
    voltage is at that point.

It's also possible that you have a problem with the wire running from the
start button the end of the starter that activates the starter..

So well Put, To bad those Toy and other Japanese car buyers are so stupid. Your right that everytime they buy a new Japanese car their sending our dollars to them. Japanese auto manufactures use Japanese vendors when building their cars even when building them here. :banghead:

Thanks a million for all the info, I will check the starter wire. Dealer says the battery cables coming is 4 guage. The starter is a Drag Specialities 1.7W.
I found the info on my Head work.
Intake 190, Exhaust 165, decked 10 thousands, used 30 thousands head gasket.
Carb jet 48 and 170, and a big sucker air cleaner. Python exhaust.
I do thank everyone for all the help and will give the results when all the parts come in.:D

Yes it has been overloaded alot, I have had to jump start the bike with a battery booster a couple of times. Wonder if the Drag Specialties starter was defective from the start? Plans are to put the Big Balls starter and the recomended 4 guage wires on and check it all over while it is apart. should i get a new starter relay also?:witsend:

:DWell a friend and I got the new allballs starter in today! Works great, turns over like a new bike bike! Took the Drag Specialities starter apart. The celanoid contacts were only touching partialy. Must of came that way from the factoy. We cleaned up the contacts readjusted them, check the brush's and lubed the gear. Put some power to it and works like it should! Now i have a spare starter. I am a happy man!!!
