I think that anchor adds a couple hundred to the price.

I can't believe we are at the same temp as you are in Florida, at least right now at my time of 9:30 PM

    O.K
Was in a Bass club & a dude was a Sherieff who worked at the range where everybody trained.
He said the officers would have a big dude on drugs running & shooting at the officers, the officers would return fire hitting the suspect. 3-5 times
The bullet went threw the dude so fast it didn't do enough damage to knock him down or stop him.
That's what choose a lot of officers to go to a 40

Yep someone cranked up on meth or crack is hard to stop
the LEO's I know said they go for a hip shot or head shot.

Hip shots break the pelvis, makes it hard to walk/run
head shots pretty much stop the advance....

Yep, I knew a cop here that shot a guy who was high on meth. He emptied his auto 40 cal into him and only stopping him when he shot him in the head. Weird as heart shots don't seem to stop em.
Know another female county cop who had an encounter with a guy with a knife and high on crack. He charged her and she emptied her 9mm into him killing him. It's all about the right shot placement. Now the bad guys in Afghanistan are probably not on crack and a heart shot would probably take em down.

Cops here, said when they shot a dude with a 40 vera a 9mm.
Its like you took an Old Glass thick ash tray and threw it and hit him.
It knocked him down every time .

    I got all 3, the 9, 40 & 45.
    Mainly carry the 40.
Probably gonna get a new XDS 45 to carry in my back pocket or under my belt..
Got several friends with them and they really, really like em.

You better have a big back pocket. I carry my XDS in a in the waist band holster. It's vertically the same size as my Shield and fit the same holster.

My friend who bought an XDS 3mos ago just got notified that his NEW XDS was included in the recall. OK, no big deal you say Springfield Armory pays all the cost including shipping. Here's the clinker, people are waiting OVER 3 months to get their gun back, So, if you buy an XDS make sure its S/N is beyond the faulty ones. +1 on the .45. Bigger is better, I say

Glock has a new pocket carry it's 380 which is 9mm light,
XD/S isn't really a pocket gun unless you wear suspenders or
    bib overalls.

Ruger LCP or LC9, Sig P290RS or 938, all good choices.

Better bet for pocket is a small smith in 357Mag, yeah
it's gonna kick your hand but if you need it nothing
    like 357....

Treyvon was killed with one 9mm shot at that distance doesn't
matter boolit size, just that you have enough...
