    There's nothing quite like it, JB. I rode thru the Smokies and the Alleghenies when I had my ironhead Sporty. Also the Rockies a couple of times. I'm taking Route 250 thru the Allegheny Mountains (which is a section of the Appalachian Mountains) on my way up to Ohio in June. The road basically goes north by northwest and stretches from Virginia, thru West Virginia and finally Ohio. It parallels interstates some of the way but not thru the mountains.

    Yep, did that couple of days ago. Also did Old Route 66. Will be doing 89 through Sadona and into Flagstaff when we leave here or even maybe before. How, is the wife's bike?

    It's still in California, Haul Bikes will pick it up this next week and then it could up to 2-3 weeks to get it home.

    Yea, I'd like to have it here to start to repair it but we've been riding 2 up and that an't so bad. It's just been years since we've done it for more than a run to church or to the store. Kind of nice at times. I know she miss have her own ride.
