CV Carb Mods

    That Mik can be adjusted to get your MPG back.

    Here are the parts that I'm running on mine, now this is on a 1995 FXD EVO with a V Thunder 2015 tq cam. I avg 47mpg but I can drive it down into the low 40's if I'm floggin the throttle horsing around. The Mik is totally adjustable & has immediate throttle responce. Here is how mines jetted, I'm in Ill.

    17.5 pilot jet, 50 pump jet, 165 main & leaner -98 needle set middle notch. The idle air screw set at 1.5 ish turns out, the pump jet is set to start nearly immediately off idle & the pump jet off setting is set flush with the top of the carb.

    Nothing wrong with a CV carb but if Ya already spent the $$ on the MIK might as well dial it in. Your 88 might need the 20 pilot jet & your altitude were you ride will have an effect on what jetting is needed. The Mik's come fat out the box.
