Yep, I got the Gerbing 'lectric jacket liner and gloves. Went for a ride Sunday needed them in the am, striped off about 10am. Today the temps are dropping by the minute. SNOW, F N SNOW is coming today. Going to be a HIGH to day of 39. Tonight into the 20's! Normal highs should be about 55. I ever tell ya how much I hate oak trees? Thats all we have here. Eggcorns and leaf cleanup almost every day. So far I have a 2 piles that is 15'x8' by 5' high and the trees are still covered. Thats after losing 11 trees last year during the Sandy Super Storm. Dreaming of the south...

We got pecan & maple tree leaves all over the yard and I'm not picking them up until every last leaf has dropped, which might not be until December. When you move, go farther south than N.C., Fatboy.

Our temps are about the same as yours, but at least no snow.

JB get yourself a good rain suit it will have the elastic in the end of the sleeves and clampdown keeping wind out, put it on over your other jacket to help seal out the cold air.

You can also put the latex gloves on under your gloves to break the wind chill effect.

That front is supposed to push through tonight, tomorrow we'll be in the mid 60's for a high and low in the mid 50's...

Urge, is right Fatboy, don't need no snow.
Yesterday for vets Day we rode down to the Capital building (Salem) as they had a special memorial. They added 3 new names to the Afghanistan Iraqi Freedom Memorial wall, my brothers sone being one of them.
The weather was nice that is for us. Was sunny and 60 with no wind. Today has once again turned back to rain but was really nice yesterday for Veterans Day.

To many of our young guys and women added to that wall, sucks.

I guess you don't remember our ride to the Vietnam wall in DC. There are to many names on all the walls.
How's your weather in Texas today.

We was there in 2010. Was a 8500 mile trip that Maddog and another friend took across the USA. Man it was hot that summer, don't know if I could do that again.
Weather here now is raining but 55. Winter is coming but glad it don't get as cold as the Midwest or east coast.

Damn...Winter is here to stay...Mid 20's out where I live last evening...Went for a short ride Saturday, put in some fuel stabilizer and topped off the tank...Will not be doing much riding for a few months anyway as I may have to have my left rotator cuff repaired...Not looking forward to it as I had my right one repaired 10+ years ago when I was in my 40's...
