    It's 17 out this mornin - way too cold for these parts - wind chill about 10 and it's not even winter yet.

    Went out to the shop, turned on some lights and threw a blanket over the ol' shovel. Made me feel warmer, at least . . .

    Yep 18 Sunday morning, 21 this morning, freezing rain and snow due in next two days. Rest of family in Orlando, hope I get out on Wed...due to fly down after work, for Thanksgiving with daughter. Then drive back with wife on Sunday...

    Well bring your jacket it's going down in the high 30's Wed Night, high of 60 on Thursday, which is fine with me, cool weather on T-day is great.

    All that cold, stormy weather has killed some people as it's moved across the country. I'll be glad when it's gone and out to sea. MC, I put riding out of my mind in this kind of weather and watch old biker movies and biker stuff on YouTube, even thumb through my old biker mags & catalogs . . . it's like with art or music for me - try to do something related to motorcycling everyday, even if it isn't riding (or painting a picture, or playing the guitar). It's better than nothing.

    Its cold here this morning and Turkey day starts off with a 150 mile drive to the coast to pickup wife's mother then another 100 mile drive to to the wife's brother place for dinner. Then we get to reverse it, not looking forward to it. Told the wife next year were staying home and eat turkey TV dinners if you don't want to cook. Or put a turkey on the BBQ.
