    I seen your fires on fox the past few days , WOW , keep your stuff wet & hope for the best ,& here we have more rain then we need , local news showed people getting cut out of there car in high water they cut the roof off the guys car to get the family out , as for ole Smokey the Bear he is from the west south west that is He got his start in New Mexico LOL ,& they can do controlled burns & not catch the rest of the Mountain on fire I have seen it done BUT I've also seen the mess if they don

    Definitely cannot do a controlled burn anywhere near a forest. Flatlanders don't understand that. Yup, I know the town of Weed quite well. We'd come down from the mountains once a month and grocery shop there. It was fun getting away from all the trees and going to the "city" for some R&R LOL.

    Josh, you must have been real remote. That's funny I wouldn't call Weed a big city by any means. When I come back from Reno and go through Susanville we would always stop in Weed to fuel up. Then run up I-5 to home.
