    it all sounds good to me. i am a spur of the moment kind of rider....may go to the shop to get a beer, end up commin back a week later. dates and places are where ever the ram rod sets it up.......

    It's hard to vote because mid-August is after Sturgis. I've been there the last weekend in August, and it was really nice. The weather was perfect, all the RVs were gone, which means you can ride the pigtails without having to walk your bike. I rode across SD at the end of July on my cross-country trip, and I thought I was going to die. There's a lot of traffic leading up to Sturgis, but it clears out pretty quickly afterward.

    Well, it looks as if most are in favor of meeting before the Sturgis Rally. The poll hasn't officially closed, but little time remaining. I think that we should meet from sometime during the last week in July-the first week in August. This will give us all plenty of time to ride at a comfortable pace and enjoy everyone's company. Yeah or Nea???

    Cool, I will have a new bike before then so it will be a good ride. I am sure that the ride on the Sporty wouldn't be that bad either, but why not have luxury?? :D

    How about the week before Sturgis, that way if anyone wants to go to Sturgis they will be able to afterwords.

    I somehow missed that South Dakota was going to be the place. Black Hills are OK, but there are way nicer places than there. How about Yellowstone, or is the place already decided? Also, I vote for AFTER Sturgis.
