Don't really connect with ya on the needles thing - did my own IV once when the paramedic couldn't find a good vein, and just a couple weeks ago I guided the nurse to do me again when she was struggling. But, heh, to each, his own!

To be fair, in my teens I was impaled on some rebar a long way from help and had to pull nearly a foot of it out myself, so I could hike the three miles to help - so I did have practice, one could say. Needles, shmeedles!:roflmao:

Bet you shy away from rebar. :D

That had to hurt. It's amazing the things we can do when we have to.

I hate needles, rebar, anything that pierces my flesh. Once I got an antibiotic butt shot and it cramped my whole leg up. I was wearing sandals and she took it off and stuck my foot right between her breasts and stretched it backwards. Hurt like hell. I think the needle hit a nerve trunk.

hell take a viagra before your shot and see if
she'll put yer third leg between her boobs to ease the pain LOL

Needles don't bother me, was on Testoserone shots
had to give them to myself, wife did for a while
she didn't like it but it didn't bother me.

There is a trick for those with issues, read about it
when they give you a shot look the other way, so
you are not seeing the shot happen, then focus
on something in the room a picture and focus
hard on it looking and concentrating on the image
takes your mind off the shot next thing you know it
    will be over..

Or you can ask them to bring in a big hootered nurse
with a plate of wings and stand to the opposite side
no guy will cry like a girl with a good looking gal
talking to him standing there, gotta man up.. LOL:roflmao:

Grown men afraid of needles.:roflmao:I have no problems with needles since I was sick and was pretty much a pin cushion as a kid. I just got stitches in my forehead a couple of weeks ago and the tech that put them in didn't do a very good of numbing me and I pretty much could feel everything halfway through.

If you want a spooky feeling try getting stitches pulled out of your eye.
Nothing like having someone with a razor blade and tweezers messin' around in your eye when you're awake.
