Daytona Bike Week

    No offense taken. My experience is similar. Had a close friend and neighbor since 4 yrs old. Grew up across street from each other. 12 years of school, little league, visited while away at colleges. He became a cop. Within a few years he Hangs only with fellow cops. Kid brother became NYPD cop in Harlem. It changed him. We still are close but his social circle is cops. The job def takes a toll. As far as becoming a p____k, not them nor sons.

    I think maybe one reason cops hang with cops is because they could be put in a compromising situation with non cop friends. Like being at a party and some people go out back to smoke a fattie, or some other illegal thing going on.

    Also because non cops like to pester cops with lots of dumb questions about bring a cop. AND they say they are best friends when they get pulled over.
