Honestly man...I wouldn't want to run the bike hanging in the air like that...You have heard of Murphy's Law and fresh paint increases the odds...get a buddy to take it for a run if you don't feel strong enough yet

That's my next project to do

    Hey bushwacherhd :)

Its the only right thing to do. Thanks for your suggestions.

I'll siphon whatever little gas I got in the tank then I attack the carb and take it apart again and clean the jets also.

Then I'll see if she starts

If it was sitting for 4 yrs with only a little gas in it... it's almost a given....new fuel lines too...

    Seafoam

    Sea Foam | Motor Treatment

    napa, autozone, advance, pepboys etc...

If you are just going to clean it out, put some in the tank
slosh it around, drain, put some more in, do it again.

    Hi Lucifer :)

I bought new gasoline. The bike is being cleaned-out with carb cleaner. Rebuilt the carb. Put it all back together and will add SEAFOAM to the gas tank tomorrow.

THANKS - 4 - the heads - up on: SEAFOAM

    Hey hotroadking :)

I bought a can of SEAFOAM yesterday and after putting my cleaned-up carb back together; I throw in some of that SEAFOAM in the tank.

Being that I only have less than a gallon in the tank ~ I won't put that much in.

I'll let you guys know how everything works out.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH ;)

Anyone else besides me wonder what the weight limit is
    on those straps.......

Typically used to hold things down and not up
I wonder if the things were designed
to hold 900 pounds in the air....

Just remember Gravity, it's the law....

I'm just thinking the total weight pulling on the straps
when they are not designed to hold things like that,

Generally straps are designed to hold things in place.

I'd be checking the spec's before you find that bike
on the ground in need of several grand of work needed.
