I bought the DK low back in Feb and installed it into the carb and it seems to be running fine, but I was reading the install instructions the other night and they say to leave a 1/16" gap at the bottom. I remember when I installed it I lined it up pointing towards the slide and tapped it until it bottomed out. I didn't leave a gap. Should I go back in and raise it up a 16th. I would imagine the gap is there for a reason. Would I gain anything by doing that or leave it be?

    Thanks, Tom

It doesn't make a huge difference however some report that the stream splashes off the bottom walls if not perfectly aligned to spray toward the center. If not a problem for you then I would leave it alone.
