Duel Plug vs Single Plug

    Dual plug heads were used mainly on high compression shovels because the pistons were so far up in the combustion chamber they would shroud the fuel mix from the spark on the opposite side of the piston dome...putting a spark plug on both sides of the piston dome helped give a better more complete burn of the fuel mix....here a look at a set of 8.5:1 wiseco's so you can see the "pop-up" 9.5"1 or 10.5:1 have even higher domes

    I don't think the vibration would be that much more than a single plugged head if at all...the cost of dual plugging heads for just one model and different pistons probably would have been the demise of the 1200S.
    These guys are mostly metric bike riders and find all Harley's vibrate too much for them.
