Softails are for short people and girls, They don't have the lean angle of yer bike.
You got one of the best frames other than a Dyna.
But if you want a bike to ride you want a FL frame.
One day you will see the value of a tourpac if you keep riding.
The lines you are talking about you see.
You can't see those lines riding down the highway.
My OL really likes a king tour pac . Likes leaning up against it, likes what all she can carry in it. The Ultra tourpac is the one to get cause it has lights in it.
One day once you progress into biking more you will see what I've been trying to say.
A bagger ain't meant to be a sporster and zip up and down the road.
No matter what you do to them a sporty will always run off and leave it.

Its made to ride and see the country and carry stuff you need.
    Like yer old mans cadillac.

Tell me I'm lying. He's still my buddy.
He always drops his heritage. He got a Electra Glide and was dropping it all the time.
He got a Goldwing too, and had it lowered, and couldn't do curves.
I didn't make you short. Don't bust my chops if you don't want to hear the truth..
    Man Please !

That's BS, I know a lot of tall guys that love and ride softails
I rode a Heritage for 10 years, and unless you had nuts of steel
you'd have a hard time keeping that bagger up with me, yeah lean
angle is less but you have to know what you are doing.

In fact was riding behind one last night and thinking I wish I still
had my Softail, they are way better looking than baggers more like
    a motorcyle.

BTW my buddy rode one well over 120K
on his riding every day to work 100 miles round trip
also rode it to Sturgis and back.
