Engine rebuild, first oil change.

    lucas now also has strait weight synthetic oil for v twin engines .

    After my rebuild I changed the oil at around 100 miles, then again in about 500. After that every 2500 or so. No big deal. I use Valvoline SAE 50 racing oil, a good weight for around here as it doesn't get as hot as Florida. You can get it in heavier weights.

    If you change oil as often as I do, you don't need to use the longer lasting synthetics.

    very true,i still run synthetics,but if you change oil @ 2500 or under,regular dino is fine
