Sorry dude. I rode it over 500 miles to the Missouri border of Eureka Springs, Ark.
We rode about 450 miles up there. I hammered it all day on the curves and would hit 100 on the straight aways trying to keep up.
Think the wheel bearings might have some play in them too.
I felt like I was having bad luck with 25,000 on a bike and kinda wobblin in the curb's.
When I got up at 3:00 am Sunday morning. We packed the bike.
I cranked it up, let it run for about 4-5 minutes.
Left the back of the motel and drove up to the front.
Looked both ways. Got about a few hundred feet and it was like you hit the Kill switch.
The bike would turn over and over but wouldn't crank
I went back into the motel room and waited till somebody got up and I called a Uhaul dealer and hauled the bike back to texas.
If I tried to fix it. and it broke down. Nobody would be there to help me.
And my wife would be on the side of the road.
Phones don't work good after you leave the town of Eureka Springs.

She had to be back at work. And would not have left without me.
And I would have to wait till tuesday till the dealer opened up.
And thay would of had to come like 60 miles or so to get me.
Then I would have to wait.
That would of been at least 3 Plus days in a motel and food.
We had already been there 4 days.
I was ready to come home.
Towed the bike to the HD dealer yesterday.
They said they wouldn't be able to git to it till thursday or friday.
    I have a 3 yr extedned warranty

Sorry to Hear that. I had a Goldwing do that to me. Turned out to be the switch on the kick stand. Wouldn't start with the kick stand down or up. I by-passed the switch and worked fine. I'm sure or I hope Harley dealer treats you right. My rotors got warped and my main dealer said sorry can't warranty them, not bad enough. You couldn't hold onto the bars when applying the front brake. Took it to another dealer and they said yep they are bad will get another set of rotors on there for you. So hope your dealer is a good one. Interested to know what they find out and good luck with it.

I ran it as hard as you can run it.
If it can't run no better than it did. Screw it.:gah:

And there better not be no wire loose.
I never have a bike setup for wires to come loose.
This is a fairly new bike.

Your bike sounds good, not like the junker in front of you. What's all the clothes flapping noise? Don't you wear leather jacket?

Cardboard, don't worry about the way you're riding--that ain't pushing it hard. I've run mine way harder than that for 110,000 miles with nary a problem. My thinking is: if the speedo sez 120--than by God it better do 120 every time I want to--and I want to a lot.

Our roads here are much easier to run flat out than yours with all those trees blocking the view ahead. Nice videos.

I was running it 100 or so in the straight aways. And had it in 4th going around the curves at 65-80mph.
Think the wheel bearing might of went bad. It got a funky wabble in it on the curves.,

Gonnna order some All Balls wheel bearings and put them in if I can git the bike back.

The last ride I was able to go on before I messed up my shoulders, we rode on a 300 mile loop with the Grey Ghosts. Mostly high mountain winding roads that you can barely go 70. But there were some stretches of wide open straights about 5-8 miles long where you can peg the speedo.

I blew past the BMW K1200 at 130 on each stretch. The guy sez I'm gonzo nuts for riding that fast, but heck, that's nothing compared to the way I used to ride. I say we're riding motorcycles--NOT MOTORHOMES!

CB there are some known problems with the front wheel bearings on 09 and up
HD's both mine were replaced under warranty as was a neighbors 11 RG, they start making a grinding or metallic noise, just drove over, they pulled the front wheel
    and put in new bearings.

Wifey uses her thumbs as some sort of reverse remote throttle...thumbs in..the bike slows down, thumbs out..the bike speeds up. I guess its my fault though since screaming in my ear proved to have little to no effect whatsoever. :roflmao:

Just called the Harley Dealer. Asked when they was gonna start on my bike. I have a bunch of foks from the arkansas ride and a bunch of folks here bustin my chops cause I didn't trouble shoot the problem when I was in Arkansas..
The service mgr said unless you had a fuel pressure guage you might of been hard pressed to find the correct problem.

A fuel line inside the gas tank went bad and it would not let the fuel pump pressure up. And where are you gonna get one of these fuel lines and put it on at the motel
We are replacing the fuel line hose inside the fuel tank as we speak.
This will be covered under warranty, but you have a 50.00 deductible.

We will call you later on this afternoon.
