LOL...Your neighbors might thank you for that choice...but they do perform...If you don't go with a 2 inna 1 or duals with a crossover, you'll have to compromise form over function...
The look of a 2 into 1 would grow on ya...;)

A 2-1 won't grow on me. Lmfao. I have tried to like the looks but it just doesn't work for me.

2in1 ain't about you. Its about clean look and better performance.

You want to do all the things to a Bike, but like a lot of other people.
Don't want to go with a good performance pipe,
Because you do not like the looks of it.

    Its Looks, sound, or Performance.

If I were to go to a 2-1 system it would probably be my first choice.

Well Lucifer I think that I am going to have to eat a little bit of crow here. I was offered to try the thunderheader and I agreed to it, looks like the neighbors are going to dislike me after all.

    Yep !

Once you put a 2in1 on a bike and start getting used to it.
Its hard to take it off. Nice clean look.
    And great performance.

Well, there goes the neighborhood. Put your earplugs in and hang on. Great pipe, just a little too loud

It's all good. you can't beat a deal like that. I don't think the citizens and the local constabulary are as anal about noise your way as they are up here. you don't pull a trailer so you won't have the sound bouncing back at you. It's probably my favorite pipe, love the sound, hate the cheesy welds. I'm on board with Cardboard on selection of a two into one. The supertrapp .for two reasons, tenability, and noise suppression. seeing I'm old and he's older, this could be just an age thing.

just a thought, but judging by your comment, I'll take that to be a non starter. But getting up at 0 dark 30 and starting the bike up and riding it to work without a proper warm up and short shifting the shit out of it trying to keep the noise down is why I got rid of it and got something quieter. I'm not telling you what to do here though, just so you know

Before you buy a thunderheader (I've had them and they are good but shitty manufacturing shitty fitting covers and loud) check out a Pro Pipe HS, I'll have to get you a picture of my friends on his RG, in black of course, sounds good, looks good, the fit and finish of the V&H are light years ahead of Thunderheaders and the sound is really good, that deep rumble that HD's make come out best with a pro pipe.
